Polish-Lithuanian Railway Forum – Summary

On 15 November 2025, the Polish-Lithuanian Railway Forum was held as an international online conference within the Erasmus+ project “Sustainable and Safe Railway Transport in Poland and Lithuania”.

The event gathered over 150 participants from Poland, Lithuania, and Iceland, with 24 speakers from Poland and Lithuania representing the railway sector, vocational education, higher education institutions, and public authorities.

Key topics included:

  • railway safety management,
  • vocational education and training of railway staff,
  • use of modern technologies and simulators,
  • cross-border cooperation,
  • sustainable transport and CO₂ reduction.

The Forum provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, international dialogue, and strengthening cooperation between education and the railway industry.
